Need your help guys. I wrote a check today with Dollar General and it was declined. It stated it was declined by Federal Recovery Systems. Does anyone know if they are associated with Payday Loans? If so, will that give them my new acct#?

Did they give a contact number to contact someone with Federal Recovery Systems? I have never heard of them before that is interesting. Someone will be along shortly to advise you further.

sfate, you can also post this on the banking thread or pm MCA. She knows quite a bit about this kind of stuff. I searched the wbe site and did not find anything on this.

Sfate, I googled it and NOTHING. This is really strange. What number did they give you to call? We can try to go backward from there.

MCA is actually around quite a bit - It may have been a problem with pm's . . . . If someone's box is full it may never have been delivered.

Federal Automated Recovery Systems is a bad check collector. They are like telecheck.

From what I've read they recover bad checks written to school districts.

Have you written any checks that bounced to any schools?

this is a bad check collection service. businesses with accounts at wachovia or wellfargo get to use this service. if you do pay with a bad check or nsf check they will try to collect it for the business.
