I am not really sure!! I know this sounds stupid but I just really don't know. I do know that some of these company's have taken money out of my account 2-3 times in the same day and all being different amounts. There are others that I did not apply for, that I can remember and I would remember something like that, like Magnum z has taken money out of my account in the amount of 510.00 for a supposably amount of 200.00 loan that we did not ask for and that started in January. I have not been able to find a number to call them and ask about it either.

OK ahorse4uto, I am going to post the information I have found so far about these companies you are dealing with. When you come back from your T-ball practice, we will continue this venture to get you out of this nightmare. If I have listed any information incorrectly, someone else please jump in here and correct it!

These will be your illegal lenders, which means you are only morally obligated to pay back the principal amount, and you have MORE than paid them that, so this is what they owe YOU! Getting a refund doesn't always happen, BUT sometimes it does, and you have nothing to lose by trying. I'm going to make some suggestions on how to attempt to get some refunds from these leaches! Hang tight!

usfastcash is illegal - they owe YOU $825.00
upfrontcash is ilegal - they owe YOU $805.00
Big is illegal - all you morally owe them is $145.00 (work out payment arrangements with them, with money order only, through USPS. They probably won't accept it, and threaten you, but since they are illegal, they can't take you to court, so they will be forced to work with you, on YOUR terms.
Arrowhead - Illegal! They owe YOU $90.00
Payday Yes - Illegal - They owe YOU $345.00
magnum z - Illegal - They owe YOU $370.00
northway credit - Illegal - They owe YOU $81.00

Here is the sticky for ya!

Before you close your bank account due to payday loans eating away at your paycheck, please read this.

Some banks have a policy regarding ach transactions that allows them to force open closed accounts if any ach transactions go through within a certain time frame after the account is closed. This can leave you owing a legal bank $1,000's and reported to chexsystems, instead of owing barely legal (or not at all legal) payday loan companies. Not a good thing. Ask your bank what their policy is on ach transactions on closed accounts before you close the account. It's best to go in person and talk to a branch manager.

If your bank does have this policy, tell them your situation. Don't be embarrassed. Take letters with you showing that you have revoked authorization for each of your payday loan companies to debit your account. Tell the bank to put your account on deposit only, an ach block, or a hard hold before they close the account. Your bank can do one of those, don't take no for an answer. This will prevent any payday loan ach's from reopening the bank account.

It's always best to close your bank account. Leaving it open gives ways for the payday loan companies to continue to take money out. These companies have many different dba's, so blocking them won't work. They will also produce paper checks and run them through your account. Closing the account is the best way to prevent these companies from taking money out of your account.

Some state laws do allow for prosecution if you close your bank account, but that is usually in cases of fraud. But it's always best to check with your state's attorney general or department of financial institution before you close your account. You want to make sure you are not causing more headaches!

Ok I have talked to my bank again and they can not do anything until Monday. I am a little worried about opening up a new checking account with another Bank because of the fact that all these companies have taken money out and caused me to have hot checks. What do I do now? Please help

I also called the phone number to Magnum Z 1-888-276-4189 and it said that it was Debt Doctors and I will have to call the Monday.

OK don't panic, we'll figure this out. First of all, what reasons did your bank tell you they couldn't help you until Monday? We're you trying to close your account? If they can't close it today, then you need to GO directly to the bank before they close today, speak with the branch manager directly, and place a hard debit block on that account until you can get it closed. This will stop any and all debits from coming out of your account, including yours, so if you need money, get out some cash first.

They could not even do that because it is Saturday and it closed at 12:00, she told me this right at 12:00. If you ask me they are being lazy.

Yes I was trying to close the account or transfer my funds to another account, but could not do this until Monday because of it being Saturday.

Let's pray not! Shocked Monday you need to scamper to the bank first thing and get that taken care of. Do you have email addresses for these Internet companies, you might want to search for those so you can send an email to them and revoke any and all wage assignments you may or may not have agreed to. Please don't let these companies know you are closing your account until it's closed and safe. Monday, you need to tell the bank that you want the phone numbers and names of the ACH processing companies who processed these transactions for each and every one of these companies. After you obtain that information and have your account safely closed or have a hard debit block put on it, you need to call these ACH processors and tell them there are some unlicensed and illegal pdl companies that are bleeding you dry, tell them they are not authorized to debit your account any longer, but they continue to do so, and you will have to put the pressure on these ACH processors in order to get them to help you. I am going to give you a link at the bottom of this post and ask that you read it thoroughly, it will help you understand how these ACH processors work, and how contacting them have helped others.

I use the firefox browser, which has an adblock built into it, so I never see any of those unless I am using Internet Explorer. You must be using IE. If I repost it, will you be able to read it?
