I just got a call from the infamous BIG....first on my cell, which I did not answer, then at work, where I told them that "She doesn't work here any longer." Then they call my cell again..by this time I was mad, so I answered it and was told this is so and so from the legal department and I am a supervisor, blah blah blah. She asked what I intended to do about the loan before she got my supervisor on the phone and did a wage assignment. I reminded her that I had revoked any wage assignments per my letter and that I didn't work there any longer so that wouldn't happen. She told me that she has my SS# so she knew where I was working. That ran all over me when she said that! I told her that I would pay the principle and reminded her AGAIN that this company was illegal and should never have lent me anything b/c I live in TN, and that all I owe them is $55, because I have already given them $145 in renewal fees. She said that she wished I would have understood what a payday loan was, and I cut her off and told her I knew exactly what it was, but at the time I didn't know that their company was illegal or I would never have loaned with them. I told her as soon as she provided me a mailing address, I would send in that $55 and be done with them. Then I hung up. Oh I was hot....I won't answer another call from them!

I highly doubt that they can find out where you are working by just your ss# that sounds like a bunch of bs to me.

You need to contact you state's ag's office, the bbb and ftc...any place that you can think about..other's will be along shortly to advise you further.

Oh I have already filed my complaints with all 3!!! I haven't heard back from any of them though...

I was so mad I was shaking after that call. This woman was talking to me like she was soooo much better than me, but yet, I had a really hard time understanding what she was saying to begin with! She didn't even know what she was saying half the time! When I told her that they were illegal, she kept saying they were a PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY...I told her I knew that, but that didn't make them any less illegal! I have sent them my Cand D letter 4 times now. And they still call me. I'm so over it!

i would just not talk to them,they are so illegal as you stated.they really cannot do a thing to you.if they won't listen,which is how they operate if you do somehow answer and it's them hang up immedatley.y.

When you talk to these people they get encouraged even if you tell them where to go. They try every trick in the book because they have no other options. They are illegal. Just hang up on them.
