I know they are overseas somewhere so they can escape U.S. law, but has anyone had any luck with a complaint? If so, with what agency? The FTC?
As most of you who have dealt with them know, they say their "call center" is in the UK (London), and they do sound British. They won't give out the company address, accept any partial payments, or any method of payment other than debiting your checking account. Interesting that when I did miss a payment one time, their collections/payment arrangements person sounded like he was from India. Hmmm...
Anyway, I've heard all the stories about how they harrass you and everything, but I've always paid them so I haven't had any problems to this point. I'm just wondering if there's any way to complain to anyone with nothing other than a toll free phone #. Has anyone received a PIF or refund? I seriously doubt it, but just wondering. When I think about how much I've paid them in fees over the years, it makes me ill. I'd really love to sick Chris Hansen at Dateline NVC on them and expose them on prime time television. I think we should all complain about these companies to Dateline NBC. I bet you there's a good chance they would consider doing a segment if they got enough complaints from us. That would be so cool to see Hanson travel all over the globe to hunt them down in London, India, wherever. I'd love to see them publicly expose AIP, Paycheck Today, just to name a few.

brian, i am also from oregon on the east side of the state..i too get sick to my stomach about how much if have paid these PDLs in fees and interest..US Fast Cash has been my downfall. borrow $300 and it takes over a year to pay it off..GOD..i had to look at how much i actually paid them..Every month checking my acct. and finding that i still owed them money. FINALLY paid them off and went to get another loan and was told "we can't lend to you" No reason given..Well now i am Pssssd and want to know why they can't lend to me. few months pass and get an email that i can get an increase. well i email them and let them know that i was told that they couldn't lend to me (not realizing they were illegal). receive email back saying they were having trouble with their website..and i bought into it..SHAME ON ME..but know i know. Had to learn the hard way i guess.

I had some problems with PDL's, too. One of them was USFAST CASH. They were HELL to work with! never did pay them off.

Haven't heard word one from them since i defaulted..at the beginning of March.

whiterock...I haven't heard from them either but they have updated my account back to $390 with no regards to the $270 I paid them. Sent another email to them and filed another complaint with the BBB and the AG's Office.

llw1995 - you have got to be kidding me?????? Do they think you are stupid and that you wouldn't remember already paying them (PLUS HAVE THE PROOF THAT YOU DID PAY THEM)

Just on a side note. I have heard Nothing from ameriloan (which means that i will most likely get another one from them soon since my so called deal is about to run out.) Email Webpayday and haven't heard anything from them either. May just decide to contact them again...

white....I settled right off the bat with ameriloan. No problems at all. Settled relatively quickly with MCN and PDM and only paid what I borrowed on all 3, but this UFC is being a real pain! As for Star, I don't even know what they are up to. They sent me a ridiculous payment plan and I sent them back another copy of my C and D letter. Still waiting to hear on that one.

I don't know why then ameriloan are being Poops..I just emailed them again tonight and will see what happens..I think they are going to let it go to collections. I have all my emails both received and sent so have a record of what i am willing and obligated to pay. they are the ones that are coming back and saying it is not acceptable. I am going to get my butt kicked by a few people on this site, because i haven't gone to the BBB yet with my complaint. When i do so i want to let the BBB know that i have made numerous attempts to contact THEM and received nothing but rejections in return..My God to have to pay $720.00 on a $300.00 loan even the BBB has to realize that is stupid. Don't they?
