OMG! That's outrageous! Big is highly illegal. I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is only one sure way to stop the withdrawals, and that is to close your account. If that isn't an option, then tell the bank to put a hard debit block on your account. Before you close your account, read this information at the link below. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...e-account.html

Please do not let BIG know you are going to close your account, until AFTER you have done it!

Big is unlicensed/illegal so you are all done with them. In fact, they owe you money! I am going to check on the rest of these pdl's, but you REALLY need to file complaints about BIG to your Attorney General CLICK HERE, Federal Trade Commission CLICK HERE and the BBB. You will also need to send these illegal pdl's an email to cease and desist letter. I can give you a good copy here in a minute. I will get back with you on the rest of these pdl's.

Here is a sample letter you may use. Just alter it to suit your needs. In the case of BIG, I would demand a refund, I would also inform them you have filed a complaint with the FTC and your Attorney General's office. They MUST be licensed in the state of Ohio in order to loan to Ohio residents. They will try to tell you that you are governed by their laws because you signed it on a loan contract, but that is phooey!

Quote:
Name
Address
City, State
Account #

Date

Company Name
Address
City, State

To Whom It May Concern:

It has been brought to my attention that your company is not licensed to lend in my state, therefore making the contract I had with you null and void. I will agree to pay the principal amount of the loan, however, I will need a physical address to send payments in the form of money orders. These are my terms, if you are not willing to accept my terms, then you will not receive any payments.

You are hereby notified that I am revoking ANY and ALL ACH transactions made by your company on any of my personal accounts. If you make any attempts to do so, I will be forced to take legal action against your company. I am also revoking any and all wage assignments I may or may not have signed with your company, my employer has been notified about this matter.

As of today ________, the only contact you may make with me is either through email, or USPS. I also demand your company and any affiliates of your company cease and desist all contact with me (except what is stated above), my employer, or any references I have listed on my account.

Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Your name

It prevents wage assignments, yes, show a copy to your payroll department. Wage assignments are voluntary and can be revoked at any time.
