Hello,
I had a storefront payday loan and they sent the check into the bank because I was late. The check did bounce I am going to call them and see if I can set up a payment arrangement to pay this back. I had a loan that I kept getting over and over and could not pay it back. Can the prosecute me for my check bouncing? They take post dated checks So I am thinking they can't but I am not sure.

Hi Toby. What state are you in? Hopefully, now that your check was returned, they will be able to make arrangements. Just let us know what state you are in so we can look up the laws.

What state are you in? Some states do allow for prosecution, but most don't.

Toby - Criminal Action is prohibited in Florida, so no, they cannot get you for a bad check.
