|

Hey guys.. ok here is a question I need to ask. I wrote to Jackson Phillips, and ARMS requesting the validation of debt , and after the 30 days if they don't respond to me, then what ?
I am sure someone has covered this somewhere but I thought I would ask.
Thanks!!!!!!!!

yes , they are collecting from internet pdls.
I havent received any usps mail from either collection company nor internet pdls, I have not recieved any emails, I just get those BS calls at work about downloadings (LOL!) and such... so.. I have filed complaints with NC & FL AG, and the whole shebang..
So I just wonder after 30 days.. what more can be done? Can I legally be null and void to them or face amusingly more downloading calls?? LOL!!!!

Didn't I read somewhere they have to validate within 30 days or they can not collect on it?? Of course that assumes they are functioning legal.

Lorim-Cannr sent a CA a DV letter, they never validated and then they just removed it from her credit. Definitely follow up and then send your DV notices to the bureaus too if they dont validate after the second time.
Morning-I have heard both sides on that....good point. I dont think its in the fdcpa that they have to validate in 30 days or null and void, but I honestly am not sure how much time they really have...? I wish it was that way

And another one saying congratulations
I also heard that if a debt is not able to be validated it is deemed null and void

If its not able to be validated, then yes null and void....but I think the question here is does the CA have to validate in 30 days.

M-O-O-N. that spells DUH...
thanks .. if it were a snake it would have bit me for sure...
I don't think those losers are going to hit my credit report. I do seriously doubt that. *knock on wood*
I did mention to Jackson in my validation letter, how I reported them and their illegal tactics, their false representation of attys ,and though I knew the collectors names were phoney, I still told them I named them indvidually out in the complaint to the NC & Fl ags and to the FTC.
so I figure,am letting them know that I know they are illegal and their fly by night operations are not flying on me.
so.... but I still want that "validation" in the event I need it.

They didn't respond because they can't validate it, simple as that. They are trying to collect on an illegal debt.
I would send the second DV and then sue their butts off in court if they don't respond. Do they have an entry on your credit report?
