I just faxed my first of seven C & D letters to one of my ipdl's. I faxed them from work, after I did it I thought to myself will they fax me back at work? I dont want that to happen. How stupid am I..............I am so stressed out.

I will go to Kinko's after work, I just wanted to get them faxed asap since 10/17 is approaching fast. The one I sent, I have over paid. Living in AZ with the time change I just wanted everything sent early since I am fighting the clock. Your right live and learn, maybe nothing will come of it. Thanks Shazzers.

One day at a time.......that's all you can do, with ANY debt or issue you're going thorough..ya know. The advice, people are giving you, is the best you can get. Just remember...'we're' all in this together.

I don't think I'd worry too much about it; as we all know, many of the internet PDl's don't like to put ANYTHING in writing, whether by fax, letter, e-mail, etc., anyhow, so I can't imagine they'll be doing much faxing.

Yep..I agree. PDL's don't like 'written contracts'. You may have a contract, if you have an PDL over the web. However.............you type your name on the Internet contract. Sooo...........who says someone din't sign it? Guess we don't know. Also......PDL's can tell people that they are "not feasible to mail or fax anything." I've had that happen before. One day at a time...that's what I say.

I've actually never received anything via fax from a pdl lender. They will email you but nothing specific. I've actually asked for payment arrangement offers in writing to be mailed to me and the response I've always gotten is that..."we can only email" when I told them I didn't have a valid email, they asked for a friends email address.. they absolutely won't mail/fax as far as I've experienced.

Come to think of it, when I was dealing with PDL's, they only wanted me to 'keep in touch' with e-mails only. I don't know if there are PDL's that do the 'fax thing.' I just know the ones I dealt with din't. I would say, however, whatever fax machine was used ( home, work..) the PDL would probably use that same number to fax back on.
