Hi. I stay on this website all the time. Yall have been great help to me.

This guy named Mark called me from 1-037-680-433 (is a fake #?) and from 646-918-5083. They called my job threating to lock me up tomorrow.

This is the info he gave me: 137 Carmen Street Rochester, New York 14606. LLC Law Firm.

My manager is pissed off because they have been calling my job none stop. I got called into the office today and was told i had a D-Day for personal calls.

Mark says I got a payday loan back in 2008 but I did and all accounts were paid in full.....anybody had this problem

If I were you, to protect your job, I would tell my employer that this is a case of a stolen identity and you are going to file complaints with the FTC and your Attorney General's office. Perhaps then they (your employer) will be a little more understanding. When they call, hang up immediately, they will tire sooner of talking to thin air then to people who argue back. And PLEASE, by all means, file complaints! You can easily do it online. I would also contact the telephone provider to let them know you are receiving harrassing-threatening calls.

If you are in Alabama, and the collector is calling from NY. I would bet he is not even licensed to collect in your state

Oh, and if it gets to be too much of a problem - and the way this guy is acting and from what I've seen by looking up the number I'd say it's already a problem - file a Police Report against them for attempted Fraud.

And *tell your boss that this is *NOT* a personal call, it is *fraudulent* and you cannot be blamed for someone trying to steal from you*. (Of course, the Police Report will make that quite obvious.)

Another thing this clown is supposed to do is provide you with verification of your debt. We call this debt validation. You demand debt validation, get an address if they require a written letter, and tell them not another word until you receive it. As has been said previously, everytime they call, hang up on them. This is harassment! Also, if god forbid, the worst happens and you lose your job, file a civil suit against them for lost wages.
