Well, I had finally gotten one PDL paid off and set up a payment plan for one of hubby's (they would do it through court only). Now, I have a Check N'Go storefront calling me AT WORK with a representative from someplace called "National Credit". I referred them to T&C, which they swore up and down that they do not deal with....exact words were "We do not deal with places like that because they do not send full amounts and they take a percentage of what you pay so we don;t get all of our money." I was just sitting there like "What???". I know that isn't true of T&C and told them so, but they went on and on telling me they are all the same and taht they do not deal with places like Consumer credit counseling of America. I then proceeded to tell them that they are not the same, but managed to talk to the equivalent of a brick wall. I was finally able to push T&C's phone number on them and they took it. She said that they'll give them a call but she KNOWS they won't work with them. The woman then hung up without giving me a return number or anything. Oh yeah, they also claimed that Check N' Go never received anyting from T&C when I know they were called many times and the letter was sent out twice. I am just up in arms about this one. Any suggestions on what to do? By the way, I am in Virginia.
