I received this in my email this morning. I DID NOT ask these people for a loan and I am furious! It doesnt look like they put any money into my account so maybe it is a mistake. Does Calif have a cease and desist on MTE??

We will automatically debit only the finance fee on your due date and renew your loan for another pay period. Your loan balance remains the same and you'll be charged a new finance fee. We do this automatically up to 4 times. If your loan has yet to be paid by the 5th due date (or any thereafter), we automatically debit the finance fee plus a $50 principal payment which will pay down the loan and decrease your next finance fee.

PAY DOWN YOUR LOAN - You'll need to contact us 3 business days prior to your due date with a request to pay your finance fee (required) plus $50, $100, $150, $200, etc. These $50 incremental payments will reduce your loan principal and also reduce the new finance fee.
THERE IS ALWAYS A NEW FINANCE FEE APPLIED TO YOUR LOAN EVERY TIME YOUR LOAN IS RENEWED.

HI Kash, tried to call them and got the phone tree go round. I emailed them. I do not have any loans out currently. Had previously but not since November. I dont think they have new account info, I never gave it to anyone so they are putting money into a dead account if thats the one they have.

What a pain. Will we ever be free of this crap????
Keep trying to call. You want nothing to do with them. As far as your new bank I am pretty sure you are safe, but will this now force open your old account.

Good point guest. I am going to monitor my new account all day to make sure and keep trying to call them. It is crazy, I am beginning to think they will never go away even when I dont apply they still act like I did.

Hey Star, just relax. Monitor your accounts. Also maybe alert the bank . maybe they can not accept the deposit and send it back.Alert your old bank that there may be fraud happening and be sure that they will not force open

Cheryl, This is not a pay day loan site. We help people get out of the pay day loan trap. If you have not received the money, please call them and tell them you do not want it or tell the bank to send it back. Do not get yourself into this cycle.

I'm with Roxy on this one. Run, do not walk, to your nearest communication device and let these people know that you DO NOT want this money. Whatever you need it for it can wait or perhaps you can find another way to finance it. Trust me, you really don't want to get mixed up in the PDL world.
