Hi...i am new to this site and not sure where to post this but i was reading some threads that have been locked now..Yesterday i had a call at my place of employment and when the person was put on hold they hung up before i even got to answer the call..then i get home to see i had a call from my dad and my sister then a place called Law Office with the phone number 905-474-3535.. My sister said they called her at 8 in the morning...my dad says 10 my home has the number on at 10:30 and my work was around that time also...Why did they not call me first? It is from a PDL from the cash store that i know i did fail to pay..but now i am being told i have to pay $840 bucks by friday(earlier today) at noon if not i will have my bank account frozen and be served with papers at my work!!and i would then owe $2400 bucks..I called the Cash store they say i only owe 500...I havent done anything about this but read alot on this site..i never did recieved a letter before they started calling ...any advise would be greatly appreicated..thanks

Check out the link below.

This company is also called Liability Solutions Inc. They are based out of Markham, Ontario.

They are lowlife as you will read in the attached link.

I would deal directly with the storefront.

I am assuming they are a collection agency for the pdl. You should only make arrangements with the store front. I would send the collection agency a request to return the debt to the original carrier. There may be a letter for that in the do it yourself section at the top of the page.

I am thinking this is a storefront right? If it is and they tried to deposit your check, the storefront has 2 weeks to work out arrangements with you. If you don't then you will get a letter in the mail from the corp. office under the name of cottonwood financial. At that time you can make arrangements with them. I forgot how many weeks you have to get it taken care of. But then you will have to take your payments into the store you got your loan from. They stop interest and will let you make small weekly payments. I will look for my papers and I will post the corp. office phone number Monday morning. I do know that if you do not set up some sort of arrangement within a month of defaulting they will turn you over to a CA. This was one that I have delt with and they were pretty easy to deal with.

Nobody is reading the original.

Her loan is from the Cash Store (Canadian). The Law Office is an outfit in Canada that is lowlife. Check my link and you will see just how scummy they are.

I would advise her to contact the store directly on this one. The Law Office knows that they can only collect for the Cash Store if the Cash Store has given them authorization, which "trust me" they didn't. They are owned by the infamous Paul Kupferstein.

I know there is a storefront called The Cash Store. They are based out of Alberta, Canada and have operations across Canada and the US.

"The Law Office" is an liability solutions company based out of Markham, Ontario. The owner is Paul Kupferstein. They recently moved to Alden Street in Markham. Their website is liabilitysolutions.com.

They are well known for their scare tactics. There are several investigations going on into this company.

Please contact the OC and work out arrangements with them. They are a lot easier to deal with.
