watching tv and the wonderful commercials this morning and low and behold a CASH CALL commercial...without Gary Coleman of course but at the end it said something to the effect "be responsible for your loan, borrow what you can afford to pay back". WHAT---from stories on this forum how can anyone afford what CASH CALL does?

When I see those commercials I would like to put my foot right through the tv. . . . but wait. . . . .with the amount of interest that was charged on my PDLs I can not afford to purchase another tv.

I live in PA. I've noticed ads for PDLS's not being televised as much. However.......( as someone said above)..Cash Call is on the air, again. How can they legally do what they do? Gosh....they have destroyed so many people's lives.

I have seen a lot of Cashcall adds since the first of the year.
At the end of the adds this snivley little voice says."Remember
to make sure you can afford the monthly payments before you
borrow".But before that the add also says"we loan to good
people because we trust you".Yes I would like to kick my TV
but I can't afford a new one.

Wow, I haven't seen a Cashcall commercial in ages. Of course, I haven't had much time to watch tv lately.
However, if they are adding in that little line at the end- well, GEE. If they didn't charge people such an outrageous interest, then maybe half the people they loan to could actually pay it back without defaulting.
Lately, Cashcall has REALLY been getting on my nerves. I have a second loan with them ( I know...dolt ) and even though I am on time every month, they still call me non-stop to make sure I have the funds to pay them, and to make sure I'll be able to make next month's payment, as well. WTF? I have yet to default with them or fall behind and they're bugging the hell out of me. I feel sorry for the people who HAVE fallen behind with them; they must really be ringing their phones off the hook.

Wow, I didn't even think they were still advertising. Funny that they dropped Gary Coleman as a spokesperson. Those commercials would be funnier than the ones that were running for the CFSA at the beginning of the year--and that's saying something!

Man, these people are annoying me and I don't even have anything to do with them! I'm with amaranth on this one. Maybe if they were decent, and above board with the practices, people could use them AND pay them back.
