I must close my bank account due to pdl
trouble.however,I have a cashcall payment due but I have nsf to cover this
payment. If I close my account today can I be in more trouble than I already am?
This would be the first missed payment
to cash call but I dont want to get my
self in any legal trouble.could this be
considered fraud on my side of this issue?

No! As long as these are internet PDLS, then there will be no legal repercussions. Sometimes closing an account is the only way to deal with them. Make sure that when you set up your arrangements with the PDLS, that you don't give them your new account info.

If this is your first missed payment to cashcall and its going to be returned due to closed account or nsf, make some arrangements with them.
What state are you in? I should post the laws to ensure there indeed no legal issues with you closing the account and having returned items. Who is the PDL with?
Thanks!

Steve, I went through the same thing when I had to close my account. My cash call payment was coming out. I called and explained the situation to them and all I had to do was moneygram the money to them...beucase theirs got returned with the account being closed. I had to pay a fee for NSF but I got it to them quick enough that I did not have to pay a late charge. Just when dealing with them you be sure to take notes and write down first and last name of who you talked to. They "forget" to note your account. I als faxed to them in writing what was going on. You are going to have to in writing request them to stop debiting the closed account. They will continue to debit until you do so. I elected not to gicve them my new info and to continue to moneygram them. I am freaked out about giving my info out. If you want to go that route be sure to include that in writing...or they will call you daily to ensure they are getting their money. If you ahve any questions, pm me or post..as I have been through the ringer with them.

cash call is not a pay day lender...unfortunately looks like the poster has to close the account due to a pdl and also has a cash call loan.

My husband closed our acct, that's the only way to stop them, all of mine are thru internet pdl's. Now they will have to deal with me thru letters and recorded conversations.
