I could not believe my eyes and ears.Last night there
was actually an advertisement for cashcall on TV
in which they actually posted the amount of payment
and the 96% interest rate on the screen.Then just as the add ends there is a voice telling people to be
careful and not take out a loan if you cannot afford
the 216.00 payments every month.I could not believe
my ears.I immediately thought of all of the people
on this site who have had so much trouble with this
company.I wonder if this is a last ditch effort by
this company to attract more unsuspecting customers,
after all I had not seen anymore adds for them in
awhile and was hoping they were sinking like the
titanic.Maybe they are in the lifeboat waiting to
be rescued.Just wondering if anyone else has seen this
add?

I have not seen it in a while. They are bad news! The worst in predatory lenders and backed by a bank that is federally licensed. If you do not pay on time they pile on charges and harrass you to death. The fdcpa does not apply to them. Only your state laws can protect you against there collection tecniques. Most state laws are vague and not really enforced.

What an 'ugly' word..Cash Call. If some of you re-call, I had a loan with them, too. FINALLY Cash Call 'sell' my loan to a CA. I'll tell ya....I'm paying 5%, on this loan, instead of 95% that Cash Call wanted. They are horrible.stay away. I can't believe they are advertising again. Thanks for the info.

I finally said good bye to Cash Call. I refinanced the loan with BHR Associates and they were awesome to deal with. Now I just have to pay BHR and I will be debt free by years end!!!!

Is it the dumb looking ad with a guy in the middle of the ocean in a lifeboat, with a really big head superimposed onto a little body? And yea, the "little voice" about "...be sure you can afford the payments"

I hate cashcall. I got all the pdl's paid and gone but I still have cashcall. They left a message a couple of Sunday's ago that if I called them that day only they had a great deal for me. I didnt call cause I was at work (2nd job. Unless the great deal was to drop their outragious interest rate I am not interested.

Cash Call NEVER has "great deals" for anyone, 'stargzr'. Their just horrible to work with...actually,..you CAN'T work with them. Anyway..hope you can find another CA that WILL take the loan, you have from Cash Call. At least the % rate won't go 'through the roof.
