Just wanted to let everyone know that CashAmerica announced today 11/5/08 that it will be closing all of its Ohio Cashland Stores due to the recent voting polls on Issue 5.
Just thought you all would like to know.

I live in ohio and went to cashland today. They told me they were not closing and they're new loan policy starts tues, nov 11.

So is this new loan policy with the 28%? I was riding past Cashland one day and I noticed on their sign outside that it said, "we now buy gold."

They are only closing 43 stores in ohio and leaving the other 95 open. The collections offices will stll be open as well. DOnt think you will get out of the debt. They can and will still sue you at any point in time. I worked there...
