Eastside lenders are not licensed to lend to Ohio residents, no matter what they tell you they are NOT licensed, therefore, all that you would owe them is the principal amount you borrowed less any payments, fees, or interest. You will need to close your account and open a new one at a totally new bank, I would go and open a new one before you close your old one. Your account will never be safe now that Eastside Lenders has your account number, even if you try to blosk them it will never work because they will just change their name and debit your account. I will address the other lenders and try to help you plan a course of action shortly. Meanwhile, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

I Advance Cash aka Integrity Advance LLC 300 Creek View Road
Newark, DE 19711

This company is licensed out of Delaware making it another unlicensed lender for Ohio residents, therefore the same applies, you only owe them the principal amount you borrowed to begin with, no interest, no fees, nothing more than the original amount you borrowed. Follow the steps in the link I gave you above on how to deal with illegal lenders for this one also.

Checkngo and PaydayOne are both licensed lenders and members of the CFSA ( Community Financial Services Association of America), see the link below:
http://www.cfsa.net/MemberList.aspx
This is important for you because this means they must give you an EPP (Extended payment plan) if you request it, they won't tell you about it you must request it before your next payment is due. By the way, when you open a new account, don't give ANY of these lenders your new account information, even the legal ones. They will tell you that they can't accept payments any other way except through an account but that isn't true, they CAN and WILL eventually accept payments via the mail with money orders. I would tell them that is ALL you can do because you no longer have a bank account and can't get one. Some people choose to make payments with a prepaid credit card but I would opt to send them payments with a money order, certified mail return receipt requested so I would have hard copies of their payments and proof that they received them.

An extended payment plan is a plan that allows you to pay off your loans in four separate payments, and the interest stops as soon as you sign up for it, you can read about it at the link below, number 11.
http://www.cfsa.net/industry_best_practices.html

By the way other members have had problems getting Checkngo to give them the EPP, they (Checkngo) claim they have never heard of it, so, you will need to be very persistent with them, and may even have to prove to them that as members of the CFSA they MUST adhere to the industries best practices or you will file a complaint against them with the CFSA and see that they have their membership taken away for not following the rules. If it were me, I would go right to the corporate office employees and make it clear you are requesting an EPP. You can also call someone at the main office at the CFSA at 703-684-1029, complain BIG, make sure you make it clear that one of their members is NOT honoring the best industries best practices.

In an eariler post you said PayDayOne is a member of the CFSA..but I don't see them on the list. Am I overlooking them. I live in Ohio and it looks like they are operating as a CSO...if they are will they still out a payment plan? Also I have already closed my bank account but should I let them try to draft the account or should I go ahead and try to work out a payment arrangement first?

I think you are right, they are operating as a CSO in Ohio. At one time they were members of the CFSA, not sure if they still are or not. Based on some of the information posted here by other members they do offer an EPP. In my experience, PaydayOne was fair to work with. It won't hurt to ask.

Shazzers,
Can you help me?
Payday-loan-yes.com trying to charge me extra interest on defaulted account (due to fraud on checking account, I had to close the account - I told the pdl company ahead of time, they didn't want to work with me, payment of course returned), won't offer me a repayment plan according to Nevada Statutes.
Help?

i may not be shazzers, but i can tell you that payday-loan-yes is not licensed or legal anywhere.you only owe the principle borrowed.they can claim any amount they want.the bottom line is you owe the principle only.
