My sister called today, stating that someone named Tony called looking for me. gave a phone # of 800-416-5402. I looked it up here and did a google and it comes up as cash supply. I went to the website and either they loan or they find someone who will type of business.
1) Do they operate under anyother name other that what is list here?
2)if they wanted to loan me money WHY would they call my sister? Is that legal?

I called the number and they do answer as Cash Supply.

Go ahead and pull up their file at the Better Business Bureau. They have the worst rating you can get and they don't respond to any customer complaints. They are also known for their mis-leading advertising. I would steer very clear of these people if I were you.

Unfortunately there seems to be an alarming increase in the number of these type of companies. They are trying to take advantage of a lot of financially struggling people and 99% of the time they ultimately just make your life a mess. I would always recommend everyone to stay away of these types of businesses. I would never trust anyone who go as far as to call me at home(or anywhere else for that matter) just to try to loan me money.

I don't understand why they would call my sister looking for me, to want to loan me money.

white....good question. With all the nonsense that I have been dealing with I do believe that there is some sort of cross referencing going on. I would probably just ignore them. They may never call back.

I would like to ignore them too, but am worried that they also may go under another name as I used her as a reference for a couple of PDLs. would a PDL wanting to do a loan call your reference looking for you? I can understand calling a reference prior to loaning any money, but this has been months and they are now calling..i just have that feeling that they are not what they say they are...Boy am i getting Paranoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

you are not paranoid. It just doesn't make much sense. I would think they would call the references if you HAD NOT paid on your loan or they would at least speak with her about you if they were using it as a reference. Can you call them and see what they wanted? I guess it would at least settle your "paranoia".

I called the number and got the recording that the call would be recorded so hung up. There are about 3 PDLs i haven't heard from since i sent my CD letter out (I am learning the lingo) and am thinking that they are one of the PDLs, but going under another # and name...most likely wrong but from what i have read on this site, nothing surprises me.
