If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for a Cease and desist letter and a letter for them to stop contacting me via phone.

All I did was e mail and mail the following
I (name) do hereby demand that you immediately cease and desist from any communication with me via telephone, either at my home or place of employment. Only contact me via e mail or USPS

Received. Now, two questions,

If I send this via fax from work, will they use that as ammunition to call me here (they do not have this number) and will this serve as no contact letter as well?

jay, you have another thread running. We need to go back to your original thread and get you to close your account before sending ANYTHING to the PDLs.

Break....the letter covers no contact, revokes wage assignments, etc.

You really need to send the letters certified mail and you can fax/email as a secondary method, but do not use that as the ONLY method of sending the letters.

Depends on the pdl company. Best thing to do is not to take their calls. Let it go to voicemail. Then log & track everytime they call. At that time resend the C & D letter via email. Eventually they will get the hint. Email & send certified mail w/receipt so you know someone accepted it. I mostly heard responses from my pdl's after they received the C & D letter through USPS.

Break,
Send them certified, but you can fax them also. Just go into options when you fax and temporarily disable the fax number from showing on the fax.

pyb...i didn't know you could do that. thanks for the tidbit! That's the only reason why I didn't fax mine. I didn't want the # on the top confirming I still worked at the same location I listed on the app.
