I hope someone can help with this. I have a loan with CashNetUSA which operates as a CSO in Texas. They show being a member of the CFSA, so I was looking to setup a payment plan with them. I was told that the EPP was not available to people who loan in Texas and that I must default before they will work with me (I haven't defaulted yet). On the CFSA website if you click on Texas, it shows that payday loans are NOT offered in Texas.

Anybody's input?

CSO's are different the PDL's.

If the EPP isn't offered, then go ahead and default. You will be able to set up payment arragements at that time, and the loan will stop having fees added onto it.

Thanks Goudah, the CFSA thing is VERY misleading. Love the dog, I have one of those, by the way. Drives my husband nuts with her snorting..... Smile

Yeah, it can be very misleading . . . . In some states, it isn't allowed.

But really, deafualting isn't much different. You may have to pay an nsf fee or something, but that's it. Just break it up into the 4 payments you'd have paid them on the EPP.
