William (Mo)
I have gotten over my head in internet payday loans and they take my whole paycheck. I have been thinking about changing banks and stopping my direct deposit is that the best thing to do?

Hi Mizzou. Here are the Payday loan laws for Missouri here (just select your state),
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...pdls-laws.html

Tell us about your loans before you do anything. Who are they with? Are they online or internet? How much did you borrow? How much have you paid? How much do you owe?

Hi, welcome to the forums. You have come to the right place. Please tell us how much each loan was for and from which lender. Also, how much you have paid each one so far and the State that you live in. That way we can help you determine what you legally owe.
You must close or freeze your checking account immediately so that you can breathe and deal with these companies on your terms, not theirs. Tell your payroll dept that you need to get a live paycheck for a while.

Yiu have come to the right place for help.
Please list who you have loans with, how much you have borrowed from each, what you have already paid back (fee and principle as one total for each)
Are these all inernet or store front.
Lastly tell us which state you live in. Once we get this info we will be able to help you

I see MO. has some fairly liberal laws. Do not close your account if you have storefronts out as they are holding checks and could file charges if they are returned for an account closed.

Hi Mizzou. Was I correct that Mo. is your state or did I make a mistake? Please let us know so that it can be corrected if the wrong state laws are posted.

Well, mizz, regardless of where you reside (but we certainly do need to know to be sure of all facts and laws), you are dealing with some illegal companies. Can you please verify what state you reside in? I understand they are all internet loans.

I do know that ameriloan, TenDollarPayDay, and United Cash Loans are not licensed/legal.

Man, your state allows for SIX ROLLOVERS? Holy smokes.
