white, WTH? Did they have to make sure the check from the IRS was "good"??? That's kind of crazy, especially for an IRS check. Hell, pdl stores and liquor stores will cash those!

Would it be best to still send a payment to Cash Net USA? How would I know if I've signed any wage assignments? To my knowledge I haven't but I just want to make sure. Thanks for all of your help

yep they did..I remember because i needed to pay a bill and needed the cash to go and pay it. they told me that they couldn't give me any cash back. So i was told to write a check..now it didn't make sense to me because IF the treasury check wasn't any good why would i want to write a bad check on it. The check was good but i guess it was the stupidity of it.

I think, and someone will correct me if I am wrong, but it does depend on your bank. I've read people having theirs closed after 30 days; however, I've read that others wouldn't close theirs until 90 days. So.... I'm assuming it's up to the particular banks policy.

Good for you Ryder... I am hoping it gets easier as it goes, but *getting one paid for * is impossible if you have several and they all want their fees. So we will get through it, no?

hi egypt, yes fees fees and more fees,,i understand yours is all storefronts also? we have already paid there fees over and over, they know we are wanting out of this mess(our hell, their heaven),,its time to stop paying their fees,,we have a life to live, not theirs.,over the last 5 years ,every friday or saturday i have found myself running from store to store, rewrite, rewrite and rewrite,,its gotta end now for me,,these last four checks will most likely end in court which may turn out easier with some kind of payment plan,,i have other debts to pay,,,after picking up check today and being 4 weeks late,,they wanted me to rewrite and i needed that cash(broke as usual) but i didnt,,i think these people work with our personality,,the person that let me write the check will tell me that they will get in trouble if i dont come in on time, trying to make me feel bad, thats alot of BS but they are very convinceing. no one hates harrasment more than me and i dont know to this day how to talk to these people on the phone,,i wish they would just vanish and leave me along but NO.i find myself telling them anything they want to hear, knowing its a lie..yes egypt,we will be just fine,we will not be hauled off in handcuffs or anything,,we will have to go threw a little stress but will live to tell about it,,keep in touch bye

We can help you here. If you list for us, your lenders, amount borrowed from each, amount repaid to each and the state you live in, we can begin to help. Also I am assuming from your post, all your loans are internet.

Ryder, I know exactly what you mean. That is what I have been doing too. Makes me crazy that I have gotten into this mess, but when my husband got hurt and was out of work I got some internets to pay the fees on the storefronts and to pay bills. Really stupid, but I had no where else to turn?

ryder, first of all, congratulations on getting one of your storefronts paid off and GOOD FOR YOU for not re-writing. Don't I know the temptation. Lordy. You did awesome. You stood strong and walked out without re-writing. Takes guts, strength, and determination. You've got it all! I applaude you!

As for how many times a bank can run your check through, I don't have a definate answer for you. I believe it varies from bank to bank; however, when I was having trouble with one of my storefronts, who decided to keep trying to run the damn check through, I once again contacted the Departmet of Financial Institutions and asked how many times can they run it through? I was thinking they would do it FOREVER. I was told that he "believed" it depended upon the particular bank; however, he also said that he thinks 2 times is the limit. But, that's my state, so I'm not sure. You can contact your bank and ask them how many times one friggin dumb a## store can run your check through. They'll tell you.
