Well, my day started out really sh*tty.

1. Aftering closing my checking account last week, I changed my direct deposit to my account at Wachovia. My payroll department didn't make the change and my pay check went to the closed account. So.... now my check has to go back to my job's main office in Arizona and they have to issue a new one.
I'll get it about Wednesday or Thursday of next week. RATS!!!!

Then...... things got brighter !!

One of my payday loans, Geneva Roth or Loanpoint USA,( they actually really screwed and issued me two loans, kindda like .... double illegal)
left a message on my cell that they need to talk to me about the fax I sent them. You know..... the one telling them to LEAVE ME ALONE !! YOU GOT ENOUGH MONEY FROM ME!!. So, I thought I would take my frustrations out on Geneva Roth. I called them back... put in the extention number. "Kathy" answered the phone... I told her who I was and that I am returning her call. She said, "Oh, just one moment". I was on hold for about 3 minutes. Then she comes back, "I'm so sorry, we called you by mistake!" and hung up on me! I just laughed and laughed !!

Myself and my husband and two co-workers took the day off work and went to the zoo. It was hot, but nice to get away.
I come home... get my mail, and there is a thick envelope in my mailbox from Florida's Department of Financial services with copies of 4 letters that Lisa Jackson, a financial investigator for the state of Florida, has sent to 500fastcash, United Cash Loans, and VC Funding, basically telling them that they are operating illegally and to sent in a copy of my loan papers to her and to me. They have 30 days to respond. Right now.... I JUST LOVE LISA JACKSON AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA !!!!

My day is brighter !!

Glad to hear it! I have a PDL with Geneva Roth/Loan Point too. Just filed all my complaints on them today! I'm in WI, so hopefully Wisconsin will be after them soon too!

Just goes to porve what we already know...most of the people that work with these ipdls are the least professional, least organized people on the planet!!

Congratulations! That's fantastic news, and I know you must be on cloud 9! Smile

I love that we're seeing more and more of these companies being taken to task by our government officials for the illegal loans they are making. Now if we can just get ALL of the states on board....one by one!

You are right !! You know what's funny??? For once in a verrrrrrrrrrrrry long time, I am OK with waiting for my check to be re-routed, I AIN"T BROKE !! hehehe
