I am trying to see if anyone has dealt with this company. I recently got a call and they claim that they have a summons that needs to be served on me and that I needed to call some 800 number asap. I called the 800 number and was told that the company was chec reslutions and that they filed a summons in my local county for a payday loan I had with check n go. When I said I had no idea what they were talking about the lady said the loan was taken out back in august of 2007 and that i needed to pay. I than demanded to get the number and local address to the court where this summons was filed she said why? I said because I know someone that works at the state attorney office and that I wanted invetigate. She than put me on hold and came back and said oh the summons wasn't sent to your county yet and that I needed to take care of the balance other wise I would be charged with check fraud. Is this legit or what? All the research and knowledge I have says that this is not legal. Also when I questioned more about check n go she says its not check n go filing charges its First Federal, which I have no clue who that is. I thought check n go used First Bank of Deleware.

Please help.

First ~ Did you ever have a payday loan that went into default? Internet or storefront?

Second ~ It's amazing how your case just happened to not be filed yet when you started questioning them...but if there were no questions...it most definitely would have already been at the court Wink
