If that is all you can afford, then that is all you can do.

Just keep track and keep receipts of all money orders and check to see if they are being cashed. Make sure the loan number is written on the MO and make a copy if you can before you mail it.

You should try contacting their corporate office as well.

Doesn't matter, they should be able to look you up by name. They may ask for social security number. Did you specifically ask for an EPP?

I had the same problem with Checkngo. Some of you may remember how they told me I had to do it 48 hours ahead of time and pay that day!!!!! Well I filed a complaint with CFSA and called their corporate office and within minutes I was called back by the Regional Manager and I was on the EPP.

Do not take this from them call CFSA and their Corporate office now.

I do remember that but I think that ERD has already defaulted making an EPP not an option.

I would see if your local checkngo store will take your money order. Just go in and give it to them and see what happens and yes keep the receipt.

kstaff24 more people would IF they knew about them. The store fronts love to hide that fact so that customers will continue to re-loan again and stay in the PDL trap.

Checkngo is by far one of the worst for communicating this information and when they do communicate the plan to their customers they give out false information.

I think people that presume that an EPP is mandatory are mistaken. State laws differ, and where you got the loan, for example, if you got the loan in Utah, an EPP is not mandatory, it is at the discretion of the business. There is also no interest cap in Utah, just an FYI. I also think people forget that these debts can be turned over for collections and be placed on your credit for 7 years.
