I don't think they are going to close down here in OHIO. When the law was signed earlier this summer they stopped running ads, started saying they are laying everyone off...Now the ads are back and they seem to be in full swing!!! What gives??? Reny

Either they are one of the pdls who is going to operate under the new law, or they are running ads in anticipation of the issue getting on the November ballot. I'm afraid if it does geton the ballot, pdls will win. Either way, I'm out!!

I know - It seems that many pdl's in Ohio are operating business as usual again. They seem pretty confident they will get enough signatures to get on the ballot.

The Columbus Dispatch had a funny story about the freedom of choice (or what ever the pro pdl name is). They have a farmer saying it should be his choice to take out a $100 loan and pay back $15 for it. The Dispatch pointed out that a farmer does not get regular paychecks and he would not qualify for a pdl. I thought that was funny. I can't believe the pro pdl has $16 million dollars to run TV ads with. If that isn't enough to shut them down, then I don't know.

I have no idea where they are going asking to people to sign for the ballot. I have never seen anyone around Columbus asking for signature. I was asked for the casin0 issue but not the PDL's.

I think it’s funny how they are saying they need to pay back $15 for a $100 loan. How many of their customers only take out a $100 loan? They should have to disclose the figures in these commercials for the loans ($500 loan is a $45 payback)

Casin0 is a bad word in these forms now?!?!

Don't they have until Sept 1 to collect the amount of signatures they need for it to make it to the November ballot?

Just waiting to see if they get enough signature for a vote in November. Deadline is soon so some more information should come soon.
