OMG some place called United Processing called me today telling me i was going to jail today for fraud and wireless banking because i have not paid EME Marketing. Well originally the loan was through E-Payday when i took it out. Thanks to all of you I kept telling the guy that the original loan was not through EME that it must have been sold to them and that I had already paid E-Payday $480.00 on a $200.00 loan. Well he kept it up and i kept telling him to send me the paperwork showing that the loan was or EME marketing because my bank statements showed that the day of the claimed deposit was from E_payday not EME marketing. Evenutally he hung up on me. Amazing hugh. What a bunch of jerks. How can they live with themselves telling people they are going to jail the same day they call. That is horrible.

That is one of their usual ploys to scare people into paying them. I personally like the "wireless" banking. Is there such a thing?? I believe the correct term is wire fraud. Next time tell him to come get you. Laughing

Good job no letting them intimidate you. All they want is the money and they will do whatever they have to do to get it.

Now something Ventures called and they want money. These people are relentless. I really am not going to pay these people any more money since i have already paid more that the orginal loan.

Stand frim and keep giving them the same information. I would try not to talk to them if possible and everytime they call, send the initial letter you sent the pdls. Try to communicated with them only in writing.

Well, they can threaten all they want, this lady is not budging nor am i taking any of their crap anymore. Gotta get tough i guess when dealing with these jerks

i hope not too much older. I think in the last year i have a lot more grey hairs because of these pdl places. I wish they never existed. Too many people get in the trap

Going to jail for fraud and wireless banking? Umm, ok. Trying to throw around terminology that makes no sense at all. Well, if you're in jail, how are they going to call you to death to their money? Next time, ask them "what time?". Laughing

Try to remember, the United Pay guys are in India and English is very much a second language for them . . .

The way it works is Westbury Ventures buys junk debt from a lot of payday lenders then they play musical chairs by passing it around between their own collections people and United Pay and Bass. Why the U.S. Attorney hasn't indicted everyone involved in this scheme - the lenders, Westbury, Bass and UPS (at least the owner - who lives in Florida) under RICO is beyond me. Correct me if I'm wrong lawyers out there, but I believe lending at double the criminal interest rates (which they regularly do in states which have criminal as well as civil usury) and using extortion to collect are predicate offenses.

Ok, so they called me today as well. They are evil blood sucking parasites, lol. They threatened to take me to jail as well. While I was talking to them, I did research and found this website. I just started laughing at her, and told her, Id be waiting with my suitcases for the cops to arrive. She got pretty pissed.

Maybe in their hometown of Kansas City, the police have nothing better to do than run around arresting people and throwing them into the debtor prisons that were closed 150 years ago. In the rest of the world, the only people going to jail for payday loans are payday lenders themselves. (Don't take my word for it. Just look up the convictions in Georgia and Florida in the last few years of guys running illegal loan stores.)
