Default pdl

Pay day loans help in a cruch. However, they are addicting when you pay off one You are stuck again because it cuts you short to take care of other committments. It's hard to break the cycle

Default Closing Bank Account

I wish I had known this before, I closed my account with Bank of the West because the companies would not stop forcing auto-pays through my account. I explaind it to the branch and they said they froze my account to solve the problem, but the transactions still went through! It was a nightmare, I was reported to Chexsystems and had to open a new account with Union Bank which only allows electronic banking. The good part of the whole story is now that I only pay electronically all my bills, nothing is ever late, and nothing bounces! I LOVE IT!

Default Closing Bank due to Payday Loans

I asked my bank to put my account on close to debits. When I left the bank yesterday, they were putting my account on close to debit... I woke up this morning and Now I am overdrawn -861.29 in my account. I live in alabama. The reason the account is overdrawn is because of illegal paydays loans. I really need some help. Please advise.......

Default closing your account works

My bank said they don't have anything in their policy that will allow future ACH transactions to follow you. They said that once the account is closed it's up to the company attempting to withdraw money from you to pursue getting their money. That's good to know. So I closed mine and am opening another one within the same bank. I'm notifying my job so they will start forwarding my checks to the new account, and that is that. Now, I'm shifting gears to attempt to contact Northway Debit and pursuing whatever complaint filing process I have to do to stop that crap from happening to others. Ridiculous!

If you are reported to Chex, you remain on it for 5 years. In the mean time , try to get the account on deposit only so you can pay back the negative and do not allow any debits to come out.

Default payday loan

Help me please! I am in way over my head with trying to pay off payday loans! At one point I didn't know what to do and got more payday loans to cover the older ones! I have contacted pdl assistance and they want a $200 enrollment fee and I will have to pay $453.00 a month for 6 months. Does anyone else know of any other way? If I have to pay that amount for 6 months to get off I will but I will lose everything because I can't pay my rent, car or utilities. I live in Florida and I don't know any of the laws. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get off of these loans?

Start the attack! Get the names of their ACH Prosessors and CALL THEM! I just got back $500 from Upfront Cash today!
Call your banks ACH department and explain the situation.
If you have Upfront Cash, United Cash, or Loan Shop I can give you their ACH Prosessor Information.

In response to the article that was listed:
The trouble with people today! How on Earth can you tell the consumers and customer's of payday advance companies that they should close there bank accounts? The problem with today's society is THERE IS NO MORAL STANDING VALUES ANYLONGER!!!! It is VERY WRONG to take a loan out and have full intention on not repaying the business that you borrowed the cash from back! In fact, IT IS CRIMINAL! That is what is referred to as PASSING A BAD CHECK! Which if you have any sense what so ever- you would know is FRAUD BY DECEPTION!!!! That is terrible advice to give anyone. You should be ashamed of yourself![/i]

We never advise people to not pay back what they owe but some people become trapped by companies that make it impossible to pay the loans back. That gives them no recourse except to close their account if they want to pay their utility bills and feed their families. If you have an issue with this you are welcome to post a new topic in the Payday Loan forum where it really should be. I suggest that you read my article "Escaping the Payday Loan Trap" first to give you more insight! Go to the link below!

So what can we do about these payday loans? I have 3 online and one that I go into a store for! two of my online ones are charging me fees for not haveing to pay the loan balance. nothing they take out goes towards the balance of my loan. I made the mistake of taking the loan and I believe it should be paid back but one of them they are taking 120 each payday! they have al;ready been paid more than i borrowed! can they make you pay for accumilated fees if you follow the steps for not letting them take out money from your account?

What state are you in and how much did you borrow from each one and how much have you paid back in fees. Please include the name of the lenders.
