Hi Glenn and welcome, would you mind starting a new topic with the following information:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

Tennessee allows Internet based payday loan company to lend legally as long as it is licensed in any US State. They would need to follow the laws of the state they are licensed out of, not the state the consumer is in. What you would need to do is find out what states these lenders are licensed in.

I don't think Loan Shop is licensed anywhere, but I'm not possitive about that.

I have worked for a Payday loan business for 10 yrs. And it amazes me at how many people won't stand up and take responsibility for the debt that they made themselves. PDL industry is so regulated by the government and laws, audited at least every three yrs. when there is a complaint they are heavily investigated. we try to work with people so they don't have a problem paying back, and yet you make us the bad guys because you are not responsible for yourself. WHY?

We don't make ANYone bad guys, the pdl companies who insist on lending without the proper licensing make their own names for themselves.

Default Help in Locating ACH Processor for PayDayMax?

Shazzers, can you help me locate the ACH Processor for PayDayMax? I've read all the postings on this site, and located one that stated Gail Sauter of Advantage Payment Systems was the processor. I emailed her this evening requesting that she revoke my ACH authorization with PayDayMax (also known as CreditProtectionDepot and MyCashNowUpfront Cash) and she replied that her company does not serve any of these business. She also stated that I should contact my bank to revoke my ACH authorization.

I'm in CA and have been charged over $900 in loan extension fees by PayDayMax over the past 5 months, which are illegal in CA. I did not realize that they were not licensed in CA until I read the posts on this site, and am in the process of requesting a refund for these illegal fees via a C&D and demand letter to PayDayMax. I'd like to ensure that no future PayDayMax ACH debits are posted to my checking account, as I still have a small loan balance on the principal amount of a loan. The balance and initial finance fee will be covered by part of the refund of the illegal loan extension fees, so I'll be free and clear of all amounts due them. They will end up owing me a refund in the amount of $127. Your suggestion of contacting the ACH Processor made a lot of sense to me. I just need to find out who they are. Thanks for all the helpful information you all provide on this site.

I have PayDay Loan Assistance helping me to recitfy a few outstanding loans I had in the past...are the reputable? I keep hearing different things...some people say it's a great, trustworthy service; others say to keep away as they are scam artists.

Any one have any info?

Default ACH Processor for PayDayMax

The ACH processor for PayDayMax is Community National Bank(423-570-0278), per my bank. I emailed the head of their ACH Dept. 3 days ago, advising that due to PayDayMax not being licensed, the ACH debits were illegal and that I was revoking my authorization for any future debits by PayDayMax or any of their affiliates. I also requested that they refund the ACH debits they processed during the past 60 days, as the principal amount on all my PayDayMax loans since January has been paid, and their illegal extension fees and interest result in an overpayment of over $800, which should be refunded to my account. I listed all the ACH debits and the amounts during the past 60 days, but I doubt if they will do anything. I haven't had a reply to my email. Do they have any legal obligation to abide by my request to stop processing these ACH debits?

I contacted my bank and have placed a stop payment on all PayDayMax ACH debits and the bank is requesting that the ACH debits be reversed and credited back to my account. Once my payroll deposit clears on the 30th, I'll open a new account and never take out another PD loan ever! My bank did advise me to leave the old account open until the ACH debits are credited back to my acccount. They seem to think that they will be credited back. I'm not sure if anyone has had any success in doing this, but I figured it's worth a shot.

I am glad that you are getting things straightened out. I do want to make you aware of something though. Even though you have a block on PaydayMax you should know that they are known for changing their name and trying to debit under different names, they will continue to do this until it works so please be on the look out for any debits you don't recognize.
