I have 6 pdl's (3 storefont and 3 internet) that I have been paying/renewing for quite some time - if I close my bank account on the 3 storefront checks will I be prosecuted - I live in KY

Welcome to the Community Here is a link for KY state PDL laws at http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/state_detail.cfm?id=KY If those are store front, I would be carefull closing my account. They tend to follow state laws and regulations, and tend to sue! Have you tried to work something out with them? Check out the link to see where you stand with all your pdls. The internet companies ar another story! When I have more time, I will look into the pdl laws for Ky. Ask questions, we are here to help, and you aren't alone in this!!..Karen

So I should stop payment on the three checks that are with storefronts or should let them bounce because I'm not sure what to do at this point. I know Ky law states that I can't be prosecuted for those type of checks, but is that only if they bounce.
