I've been having difficulty with getting the payday loan company information together. Does anyone out here have a list of the Internet lenders by any chance?

Kash is correct...there are literally thousands and more coming on every day.

I would recommend you go back and look at your bank statements, emails, etc for the names of your PDL's.

I went and looked at my statements and I have the names. I'm in NC and I am trying t decide how to approach this.. I have 4 Payday loans, three of which I have paid well over what I borrowed and one where I have paid fees and owe them about $300 on the principal. I know that PDL's are illegal in NC. Can anyone advise me on how to approach them on being paid in full and sending a money order to pay the remaining balance on the one? Or tell me if you are aware of anyone who has done this without just paying them back the principal on top of all the fees I've paid?

Please list for us who you have loans with, how much borrowed from each, how much paid back to each, are they internet or store front.
PDLs are not legal in your state, so chances are you are just oblugated to pay back the principle

my cash now is the only loan that you still owe on. The others have been overoaid. Please close your checking account so that no more money is debited from your account.

I can't close the account today because of pending debit card transactions. So tomorrow I will be adding another round of fees to everyone. My hope is that I can figure out how to take some type of action on this before my February 15th check....

I know and believe me when I say I do not want to. Once I close my account what do I do or say to these people?

Ok , You say nothing until you close your account, otherwise they will go in and take everything . When it is closed you will make arrangements with the one that you still owe. The others you will demand refunds from, being that these loans are not legal in your state. I have a copy of a letter that many of us have used, and when you are ready, I will pm it to you.

That would be great! I don't have to wait until the 15th to close the account. I will close it over the next few days and move, what will be left of my paycheck, to a new account. Then early next week I can start using the letter. I will admit I am a little nervous but I don't want to spend my entire tax refund paying the amounts off if I have already overpaid some of them in fees to begin with.

I must ask. Have you learned anything from this experience? With the money you have paid out, why did you need to borrow in the first place? I hope you don't think there is a good answer.

Get em Shazzers... Angela, you may want to talk to your bank, I was able to place my account on deposit only and I told them which companies I had debits with that I wanted paid. Once everyone was paid...the account was closed. That kept the pdls from taking any more money. Just a thought.
