Where do I start

Hello Family,

I have a few payday loans that I need to take care of, but I don't know where to start. I am a new member and I am looking for a starting place. I already know who I owe, I just need to know where to start as far as consolidating them all for one monthly payment. If you have suggestions or know a good place for me to start please let me know.

first of all welcome...please list what state you are in and if these pdl's are internet or store front and the company names of the pdl's. This information will help us to help you. Also please list how much in prinicipal you have borrowed and how much you have paid back so far. Someone will be along to advise you further.

If you would like help in learning how to handle these yourself, please list the name of each loan, internet or store front, the amount, and how much you have paid on each including the "fee's". I will list Texas law for you....

We can help you, work. If you wish, you can list the pdls that you have (storefront and internet), how much you borrowed (principle only), how much you have paid back (total). Distinguish between the internets and the storefronts. We can look at your state pdl law and we can tell you if you're dealing with licensed/legal pdls or illegal ones. Here are your state laws regarding pdls; however, some storefronts in Texas operate as CSO's, which don't have to follow the state pdl law.

Work at home, how much have you paid on these and which are store front and which are online? There really are not consolidation places but there are two companies Town and Country and Langhorne. If you do a search in the box above you will be able to read what others have written about both. They both charge you to negotiate with the pdl;s which is why people have been trying to get you to give the information we asked for, we will not charge you to help you get these pdl's out of your life. So....you can do it yourself or you can try those two companies. If you want to do it yourself please list amount paid and storefront/PDL info and we will help you get started.

Just to add to what stargzr posted, are all these internet? And the amounts you have - are they the amount borrowed (principle amount only)?

If you could put some of this on 0% CC would help. If you are able or not to put them on a HELOC you need two jobs. Transfering PDL debt to any other loan vehicle is helpful, but trying to pay them slowly is useless. How you allowed yourself to get here is a huge problem to fix. Read Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace or the The Total Money Makeover, either will teach you much you need to know about managing money.

Confused by your post Guest...what do you mean by 0% and HELOC? Or trying to pay them slowly won't work? It is not easy to come up with the money to pay off several all at one time?
The thought of not being able to get out of this *mess* without taking steps is next to impossible for me....though our thread originator may be able to do so more swiftly than myself.
Dave Ramsey has some great advice, but it costs money to even join his Forum, or buy his books. I took them out at the library. I got frustrated because the majority of the people he helps are those with big incomes. I live a few miles from his business...maybe fifteen. He gives little advise on PDL's except not to do them and to stop paying them and pay them off. Maybe his phone counselors, who you can call for free give more advise than this?

egypt-I think we had a bit of spam earlier today..I have seen this Guest post a few times. What they were saying is transfer the pdl debt to a 0% interest credit card (because we all have those just laying around)or use a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC).

All of the loan I have listed are online loans. I am not able to get all the information from a few places they have locked my account. I will have to call to get the info. Here is the info I do have.

Cashnetusa.com
Borrowed 850.00
Paid 2 payments of $212.50 each, not sure what they are showing now for the balance.

Purposechasloan.com
Borrowed 350.00
Paid 2 payments of $98.68 each.
Balance is $326.00

work, it looks as though (and correct me if I am wrong) that the amounts you posted as borrowed include the "fees". Like your Instant Loans Today - you posted $390. I'm pretty sure you borrowed $300. That's how they operate. Now, the part we really need to know is (if you can find the information) is on each of these internets, the amount borrowed (do not include their fees, just the amount deposited into your bank account from them) and the amount you have paid them back so far (every penny you have given them to date). We can help with this once we get amounts. We need to check and see if these are even licensed to lend in your state. PaycheckToday you probably borrowed $200 and the "fee" is $60. I know they will not be licensed. This is why we need to know amounts. You may be dealing with some unlicensed/illegal pdls here. However, we can see how may/may not be licensed to lend to you. But, if possible, see if you can get exact amounts. I know it's work. It took me FOREVER to figure all mine out. Then it turned my stomach when I saw the amounts.

work, I'm confused (doesn't take much!). I'm comparing the list you just posted to the list that you posted on the 22nd and they don't match up. Either some are missing off your second post or you didn't put them on there? Or is this in addition to what you posted on the 22nd? Sorry to keep asking so many questions, but I'm trying to get them all in order so we can help you.
