You can file the compliant online.
It's a good idea to do just because it helps to wake up the authorities to the problem, and they do investigate in some cases.

ipd, please take it from me. The FTC does indeed pay attention to the complaints. You need to file with them. Go to www.ftc.gov. You can look for consumer protection and file a complaint. Please do this. It makes them aware of these illegal companies and they do pay attention.

If you don't report the companies to the legal authorities, how will they come to know about people who are scamming around and making money from innocent people? Justice will be at a loss if the scammers are not reported in time.

That's right. Report, report, report. The more reports they get, the more attention that is drawn to the money hungry thieves.

You are correct eleroo. After working for a state agency for 7 years they eventually will take notice and take appropriate actions. But the way to get some actions is to fill out the complaints.
