I received this from the BBB a few days ago but, there were problems with the website when I tried to access it until today. This is the response from OneClickCash.

Ms. XXXXXXX is a repeat customer, and from recorded past communications understood all the terms and conditions before requesting our funds to be deposited to her account, for her own use.
The customer had every opportunity to print out her contract agreement when she applied and had access to it via password also. She had a 48-hour window in which to cancel the agreement and return the funds without incurring a fee. In addition an account summary was sent before each debit and it explained the terms once more and all of her options for repayment. This customer did not utilize any of these options. We did not receive the account summary to pay this account in full before the first due date.
We can fax a copy of her contract if given a fax #.
Although all of the conditions and terms were met, in an effort to assist this customer, we will write off her remaining balance. Her account is closed now with a zero balance. We do not feel any circumstances warrant a refund on this account.
She will be also ineligible to do business with us or any of our affiliates in the future.

I overpaid these clowns by over $3,000 and they were still trying to put through a $950 check as of 2/15/08. I guess once they realized they weren't getting anymore money they decided to close out the account.
I would have preferred to get some of my money back but, I'm just happy to be rid of them. I like the part about being ineligible to do business with them in the future. Like I would really want to!
That's 3 down, 3 to go. The Loan Shop/Wesbury Ventures, 500FastCash & OneClickCash settled. E-Payday Loan, USFastCash & MyCashNow still pending.

annie, congratulations on getting it closed with a zero balance. However, to state that they have "written off" your balance and that it doesn't "warrant a refund" just makes my skin crawl. These illegal a$$e$ took you for thousands. Personally, I would have fired back with a nasty response regarding how much I had overpaid and there was nothing to "write off"! Oh, they just tick me off! If you're happy with it just being rid of (and I know you are!) then that's fine. At least they won't be hounding you any longer. I'm just sorry they got so much money from you. And the gall of them saying that in their response to the BBB.

Annie, I am so happy your account with one click is closed but I am really sorry you did not get a refund and that they were such a$$es in their letter. I recevied the same letter. I did not care becuase I had a statement saying my account is closed. And I am positive the fact that you can not borrow from them or any of their affiliates any longer has broken your heart...Whatever will you do..Oh yea....you can do a happy dance becuase you have one more down.

Cannr I could not get on the site a few days ago when the reply from them was posted. When I finally got on today, the case is closed and the BBB assume I'm satisfied. I emailed the person working on the case stating that I could not retrive the information and they still closed the case saying I did not respond.
When I sent the rebuttal for USFastCash after they said something similar to OneClickCash, the BBB just closed the case saying nothing new was added and no agreement could be reached. USFastCash did not aggree to close the account either. They are still demanding payment, eventhough they were overpaid.

USFastCash is a bi*** to deal with. They were a thorn in my side forever. One Click Cash and USFastCash are both d/b/a's of MTE Financial. I went around and around with the BBB on both of them because I was not satisfied. The BBB eventually did close my case (gee, thanks!). So, I left it to my state AG. They sent them letter upon letter upon letter. I also hounded the living hell out of them. FINALLY they responded to my state AG that they marked my account paid and closed. Yes, I also overpaid. Didn't see a dime refund but I was glad to get them out of my life! Have you filed with your state AG regarding them?

Not yet Cannr. I've been sick for a couple weeks and just getting back in the saddle. I plan to get it started at least by Monday. I'm also looking at what direction to go in with the other two. I haven't heard from MyCashNow in almost two months. E-Payday Loan wrote offering me a settlement:

Nice illegal company offering you help. Sweet of them. Did you send these bozos "the letter"? If you did, reply to their sweet email with the letter again. If they respond, email the letter again. They will eventually "get it". You have filed against these guys, too, right?

Yes, Cannr I did send them "the letter" and I will again. I did file them with the BBB but all that came up was Cashnet500 and eventhough I put in E-Payday Loan and the address manually, the BBB sent the info to Cashnet who never responded.

annie. . I got the same exact response from USFastCash, filtered through the BBB, just this morning. I have already paid $270 and they want to "settle" my account for a mere $140 additional by March 3rd. I immediately responded that I would not consider their offer as an acceptable resolution. I realize that they did deposit $300 into my account and I did accept their terms of $90.00 but that was it. I did not intend to pay $90 a month for the rest of my natural life. So life goes on and I sit and wait for a response. . . .again. I hope you are taking it easy. . .the flu is running rampant around here and it seems to be getting worse, instead of better. On a positive note, I did have good news from one PDL, which I am posting separate from this. Hang in there!
