After sending them the letter revoking the ach and telling them they were not licensed in Florida I did not hear from them for a year, until September 2008, where they call and they say we owe $1320 (my husband got the call at work and told her that he cannot get phone calls at work. This Northway tried even after I had stop the ACH tried to get the money and someone in the bank debit the account so I went in and talked with the manaager and they credited back to my accountthe money and that is when we closed the account and opened another one that has been over a yr also. Last week they called again to his work but he hang up. I thought after the letter was send, ag, bbb, ftc had been notified and we did not hear from them in a yr I thought it was finished

sadly spanisheyes,that is how these most illegal out of the country pdl's operate.tell your husband to keep hanging up.they can't do anything but call.by the way the amount they say you now owe is totally ridiculous.i would have your husband give a wage assignment revocation letter.this place is famous for trying to get a wage assignment.

When I was dealing with Paydayavenue, which is an affiliate of Northway and CTC, they kept calling my payroll dept. I had already informed payroll that I was revoking the wage assignment and not to give them any money. After they finally realized that payroll was not giving them any money, they sent me a settlement letter in an email for half of what I actually borrowed. When I didn't respond to that, they had sent me to a collection agency call Universal Fidelity.
Long story short, I eventually filed BK and included them.

if you scroll down almost to the bottom.you will see a block that says ALSO SEE.it will have sample letters for just about everything stated on the forums.
