I had a $500 loan with mypaydayloan.com and paid $600 on the loan.

mypaydayloan emailed today to tell me they are reporting me to SCAN so I can never write a check again.

then, an hour later, I received an email from DATEX Agency saying they were collecting on behalf of mypaydayloan.com and wanted $800...

I already told mypaydayloan.com I paid them and to basically go away, then their collections dept, guy or girl named Taylor keeps sending emails about reporting me and stuff...
now, this collections agency has grown some....

I replied with a debt validation letter and have not heard back...

anyone deal with them this year? All the searches I do come back to 2006 and 2007.

I ALSO AM DEALING WITH MPDL AND GFSIL. THEY ARE NOT GETTING THE PICTURE. I TOO HAVE OVER PAID THEM AND LIVE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. THEY ALSO HAVE TOLD ME THEY ARE REPORTING ME TO SCAN ETC. FUNNY I CASHED A CHECK 2 DAYS AGO AT THE GROCERY STORE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE. WHAT I A debt validation LETTER? I NEED TO SEND THEM ONE TOO. I HAVE ALL MY EMPLOYEES TELLING THEM I GOT FIRED LOL

from what i have read you did the right thing sending a debt validation letter, i'm waiting to send mine now. was just emailed that i too was turned over to detex collection agency. at first they will send you the loan docs to validate the loan.WRONG it alot more than this since the company is illegal. next watch your credit report--this is where you can get them.

what is SCAN? I doubt such a thing exists that kills your check writing/account privaleges for life. I know Chexsystems only lasts 5 years.

BTW...I've dealt with Detex before...is that the same as the DATEX you mentioned?

i got the email from mypaydayloan and the company was detex collection agency. scan is a part of chexsystems. i you have delt with detex what happened?

I am dealing with them, but, in my case, I never took any kind of loan out, they are calling and sending me notices and saying I owe $900 dollars, I guess since I don't owe anything, I should just ignore it, they call me like once a month, so its not like they are hounding me. Irecognize the number now, so I don't pick up and they never leave a message.
