I will say on my loan with them, that I have defaulted on; i haven't been able to pay either, but have paid 278.85 on a $500 loan and they want a total of $1200 to date to pay it off....I know they are legal but omgosh, that is so riduclous...so basically on a $500 I will have paid almost $1500....

now that is so sad that someone could make $1000 off a loan...maybe we should get into that business...ha ha..just venting here..I am in tx too

Oh my gosh Purple. Now that is a lil over the top wanting $1200 for a $500 loan. At this point it might go to a collections company. They might be easier to deal with than Think Cash themselevs. If not you might have to battle them in court. Have you at least tried proposing arrangments in paying principal since it is only a $500 loan? I mean $1200 is a lil ridiculous I Agree! Anyone else please interject here..

no, since i have had so much going on, i did in fact email them with a payment arrangement of $50 a month, they said it would not be an arrangement but i could still send in anyway and they would take it...it might be better for it to go to collections. I wonder if it does, if i could just add it to my debt settlement program that I am already on with my credit card debt? hum....i do know that CA normally take a lesser amount...guess we will see...it just urks me they want so much money...

but i might take your advise and call them to see if they would take a lesser amount, but i would rather email as to have it all in writing...

I reccomend getting something in writing definately. Does your debt settlement company deal with collection accounts? Well that is "IF" Think Cash sells it to a 3rd party collector? They could pursue collection themselves. So still email on principal arrangments and include your past payments already made to them.

sure will think about your advise...it is worth a shot...and yes, my debt settlement company does deal with collectors. who knows what think cash is thinking...but i do owe the debt and willing to pay for it. just hope not all those fees...

i think everyone is having a hard time and it just stinks that american's don't really have a way out....if you borrow from peter to pay paul, then you know you will get harrassing calls from them and then the next month do vise versa and get calls from the other company..never ending saga is it...
