I opened a loan with them last year. could no longer afford to pay them. I have not heard from them since. Curious as to why I have not heard from them.

I assumed wrong, Thinkcash isn't a PDL that I know of, it's an installment loan backed by the First Bank of DE. If I am wrong about that someone please correct me. If I am correct, you really need to make other arrangements with them. Smile

I am from texas and the same thing happened to me. I had to set up arrangements and have not followed through as I needed to save my house from forecloser and my child with serious health issues. I didn't want to say anything as I might ginx it or something....

My account is closed, I live in TX and not sure what to think about them. I am just sure one day, i will get a letter in the mail from a collection agency collecting for them.

Good luck "Helpmeplease"

if they are legal and backed by the bank..they are probably going through the process of filing a judgement against you, depending how much you still owe them..that takes a bit of time...but i would think you would receive notice of that...i would probably call them..if indeed they are legal to see whats up. but i see what you are saying...why stir the pot?

WOW. So this $744.64 was in interest? Did any go towards principal? **FYI**ThinkCash is not a PDL it is an Installment loan like Cash Call. They are backed by a bank. So they are LEGAL and can collect.

I know they are NOT a pdl....i was just stating the fact that I haven't heard from them either...it was an installment loan and some of the fee i was paying was toward the principle...

I would contact them for a balance. I know silence is good for now, but also can be harmful from legal collectors. If you have statements proving the payments paid towards that principal GREAT! Unfortunatelly Thinkcash is one of those companies that charges ridiculous interest rates on their loans causing you to pay them hundreds before your actual principal is even touched. Try getting a payoff for the actual principal owed, its worth a shot. Best of Luck!
