D-Day is here...

Hello folks, today is my D-Day for my 11 iPDLs. My bank account has been frozen and their debits will be returned to them - so Monday should be interesting.

Anyway, the point of this thread is this: does anyone have a link to templates for letters for ACH revocation and Wage Assignment revocation? A phone call cease and desist letter stating all correspondence must be done via e-mail? Is there a way I can keep them from calling me at work (which could end up in me losing my job - OMG i don't even want to think about that right now)?

Also, can I lump all of the above into one letter and send it out to the PDL companies? I know that I haven't really truly overpaid any of my PDL's, and I want them to know that I do intend to pay what I LEGALLY owe, but I know that they won't care what I legally owe. It's what they say that I owe that will matter, right?

One more thing: what is the forum's opinion of Town & Country Acceptance? I have read good things about them here, and if I can get these PDL's and my other bad debt put into a dmp I think that would be the best step to take at this point.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I'd like to thank you all again for the great information and support that the members of this site give out so many times a day.

Some sample letters are posted in Polly's blog.

Here is one letter on revoking wage assignment from the pdl companies

The cease and desist letter is here

Pdl places are not legally bound to follow the cease and desist rule, since it applies on third party collectors only. But I had some companies who honored my request. They won’t disturb if you are upfront about your situation and get a proper payment arrangement done.
