that's bullcrap on the half-shell, if you ask me. Not permitted to give their address out? Ask them if they even have one!
This sounds like a lot of runaround and delay tactics to me.

This "can't give you our address" crap seems to be a common line with the PDLs. I assume it's because they don't want you mailing them payments; they want you to cave in and give them your new checking account information so they can clean you out.

The refusal to give out addresses has nothing to do with mailing payments. They do not want a class action lawsuit or other legal remedy served. Their refusal to give out an address is simply to avoid legal action.

I hace to agree with Amaranth. They dont usually want to give out addrtesses because they want your banking info. Its the same with all of the pdls.

This company (Global Financial is a pain in the butt to deal with. they will harrass you, your references, & call you at work etc but if they owe you a refund (overpayment) they will not give it to you at all. The above addresses are correct. The last time I asked for my refund and my husband had a loan with them I told them to pay it off with my refund!. so far I have not heard from them at all (this was in Aug. of 2007).Hope they lost the information.!!

Kashzan, I respect your knowledge. You are entirely wrong about why pdls don't give out their address. I'm new here, but have read so much that is absolutely incorrect. FYI, if you want pdl yes to back off, tell them you are aware they are in DE. They are not in UT, sorry. They were previously a UT lender and had a staff stamping loans as originated in UT but they have always been in DE or PA.

C why would you say kash is wrong-kash stated that they go by different names and yes the different names of these companies have entirely different addresses in different states-that is how these PDL companies work. This company also calls and identifies themselves as First National leaves the number to call 800-550-6051, and when you call its Payday-Loan-Yes. They will not give out these addresses because they want you to setup payments by getting your bank account # again, and I do believe that these companies do not want to be recognized as they are doing illegal business practices-they might have addresses-but doesn't always mean they are located in an office-they are actually I think out of someones house. If they did they would be caught.

Their setup is actually quite intricate. Not at all out of somebody's house. For example, PDL yes is actually in a Delaware Call Center with a great deal of employees. They all use multiple URLs. An honest company would want to retain customers and remain called what it is. This is purely smoke and mirrors to avoid being caught. For example, the loans can be funded the same way and from the same bank account and appear to come from completely different payday lenders. PDLs understand that the average PDL is not looking for $300. Rather, they are looking for in excess of $1000. With the advent of lead generation companies and microsites to take and farm out applications, many pdls choose to fund multiple loans from the same client without the client even being aware of it. To scale infrastructure, 800#s are pointed to different areas that may be answered by what appears to be different people from different companies that are in fact sitting right next to one another. So, to answer your question of why PDLs hide their address, the gaining of a new bank account number from one client does not outweigh the fear of legal ramifications that cost in excess of $100,000 per occurrence.
