It's been a week since I defaulted on one of my payday loans and I haven't heard a word from them...what does this mean?? I closed my checking account over the memorial day weekend but I've only heard from two pdl so far. I have five loans so I'm not sure what is going on.

It will take a little time for them to contact you. Sometimes they try to process it twice before they will contact you. Plus some will just turn over the defaulted account right over to a collection agency so it will take time before the collection agency contacts you.

Were these loans all internet or were they storefront, or maybe both?

Because if it is a storefront, they will do things differently.

Enjoy the silence. Sometimes it takes a bit for the PDL to "get it". You might want to list the PDLs, what state you are in, whether they are internet or storefront and how much you borrowed and how much you have paid. You closed your account which is good. Have you sent out a C and D letter to these PDLs yet? If you have already listed this info somewhere forgive me for asking again. If not, perhaps you could supply the information to get your started.

They're all storefronts. I am in NV I have about 4000 total. I was going to offer them each $100/mo til they are paid off but if they don't accept what then?

I am sure this is probably the calm before the storm for you. Bear in mind that this week was also a short week, due to the holiday, so you're probably going to be getting phone calls next week. Now with storefronts, chances are they are licensed in your state, so this would mean that they would follow state law.
And with these storefronts, I really think alot of it depends on whether you have a good manager or not. What ones do you have--and are any of them national, like Advance America or Check into Cash, etc?

I don't know if they're national or not. Those don't sound familiar. But I did get one phone call this week that was really persistent. They wanted me to make a payment over the phone or get a loaded debit card to pay them. I told them I couldn't have the cash til the 13th.
