Well, after 3 months I havent heard a word from my cash now regarding a 1000 payday loan I defaulted on. what gives? have they forgotten about me or just charged it off to a collection agency. They MAY be phoning, I never answer 800 or out of state numbers, so if they dont leave mesages then they may be calling, but no letters in the mal ever

They really do not have any legal recourse against you unless you are a citizen of Grenada

Yea that must be the case, and I live in NY where PD loans are illegal. The last thing I got from them was an email 3 months age saying the FBI investigated internet fraud.,....I responded "do they also investigate illegal PD loans? " LOL
So will I EVER hear from them? I guess the silence is what has me worried. I am surprised that not even one letter in the mail either. They are so slimey

I doubt you will ever get a letter and I doubt it would ever get reported to a credit bureau. They know they can't touch you. If you had been uninformed, perhaps they would contact you, but you educated yourself, so they will probably leave you be.

tm, letters / e-mails are good. You want them to communicate in writing. Be sure when you respond it is in writing as well and keep copies of everything in case it is needed later on.

Yes...theri in house collections are CPD (Credit Protection Depot). I defaulted on My cash Now in June...sent all my letters, etc. I just heard from them last week. 2 threatening letters...1 from CPD and the next day 1 from MCN...I forwarded them to my contact in the AG office and haven't heard anything as yet.
