If I put my account on "deposit only" status, my direct deposit would still deposit into my bank account, correct? Then I can go into the bank, ask for the deposit only status to be temporarily removed and withdraw my direct deposit? Thanks in advance. I've learned so much here in the few days I've been reading the board.

Actually, you don't need to remove the deposit only status to withdrawal your funds in person at your financial institution. Smile

Each bank is different.....my bank had it removed temporarily even though I was in person with a teller.

newbeginning, I would encourage you to contact your bank for their policy. In any case, yes, you can get to your money.

The bank I work at the block is moved just long enough for the customer to make the withdrawl or transfer money over. I have blocks on my account right now and I just ask a personal banker to lift the block really quick so I can get my money and then she puts it right back on.
