Can anyone confirm whether or not they are licensed to do business in Delaware? I cannot find anything on them, but one poster said they were legal.

I need this info ASAP because I will be fighting them. Thanks.

they are not.eastside claims because they are located in delaware that the borrower must follow delaware law,but i never could find a license for them.so i take that to mean they are unlicensed, and therefore illegal.

East Side Lenders, LLC is licensed to do business in Delaware, likely because of their lax payday lending interest rates.

See the attached from Delaware's Banking Commission

Eastside Lenders told me yesterday they are licensed in DE and consider their loans to be origninated in DE and paid in DE which makes them legal in their eyes. I have just started my fight with them so we will see how it goes.

I rechecked Eastside Lender's license status in the DE data base and their license has be reinstated, however, your state law prevails.

They are NOT licensed in AZ either... but try to claim the DE laws, etc... and even sent me to a collection agency that IS licensed in AZ... so I just quoted the laws to the collection agency about it being an illegal payday lender and how their collection agency is violating our AZ state laws and can be charged with a misdemeanor, loose their collection agency license and all of sudden the calls stopped. I'm still waiting for the verification letter stating they aren't going to collect... Just research your State's Financial Institution laws and know your state collection statues. Good luck
