Thank you! I will ignore the phone calls then! They actually just called my work again & asked my co-worker for the HR dept and also left a message for me with a docket # and told my co-worker that it was regarding: Shamrock (payday co) Great...how embarrassing for my co-worker to get all this info from "Mrs. Matthues"

I have the same problem I have a woman calling threatening to garnish my wages as well as my husbands (He wasn't even on the loan so, where they got any info on him I don't know) I didn't think they could give any info to anyone but, the person on the loan. I have filed a complaint with the Flrida state attorneys office as well as the florida office of financial regulations. They also told me that they are not lisenced at all. How can I stop the phone calls and the threats.

that is complete bullsh*t.first if you were sued you would have been served and went to court.next this illegal ball of sh*t not even located in the US would have to have won.they are so full of it.chances are you paid back the 200.00 in illegal fees.i would file a police report for the calls.then file AG,and FTC complaints against this illegal bottomfeeding scuzz.then ignore them, stop talking to them.there was nothing done, and they can't done what they say or threaten.a complete waste of your time to engage them.

i have a question...i applied for a loan with emerald back on july 12 2010. the loan was for 200 with a 60 dollar fee. i paid the 60 dollar fee one time and my account was closed and reopened with a new one due to previous fraud activity on my account. they keep calling me and leaving me messages that they are in the finalization department and have an order ready to be filed in my county. the thing is i just went through my loan docs that they sent me when i got the loan and i do not see a voluntary wage assignment order. so if i do not have one, can they still garnish my wages? i have prepared a wage assignment revocation letter but do not want to send it yet until i find out if i signed a voluntary wage assignment order to begin with...help!

I have also been threatened with garnishment proceedings. I work for an attorney and we are planning on pursuing legal action against them. There is currently a case pending in the State of Washington, Department Financial Institutions, Division of Consumer Services. The link is http://www.dfi.wa.gov/CS%20Orders/C-10-172-10-SC01.pdf if you would like to check it out for yourselves.
