I got a payday loan last march for $300.00 (I will never do it again)...Since then I have dealt with Jesse Corum, and now for the past few months have been recieving email from Keith Czarnecki. When I got the loan, I had no recollection of signing any contract, but a week later, there was $300 in my account. Reading up on these forums, I realized how these companies make their money so I closed out my checking account so that they couldnt **** me in debits. A month later when they tried to debit my account, I finally got the first contact from Emerald Marketing VIA email (there was no email or phone confirmation after I was "approved" for the loan--the only info I had was on my bank statement). This guy Jesse told me I owed some outrageous amount and I recieved threating emails for a few months from him-so I chose to not respond because I knew he was just trying to bully me. After not finding any info with the BBB or any type of legitamcy with this company I decided that I should furthter investigate before sending any money. ( I dont want to send them the full amount, then a week later hear that I still owe some other amount that they make up.) For the last two months I have recieved emails threating me saying that I am committing fraud, but yet they have offered me settlement offers of $150 and $200 when the orginal loan amount was $300!!!....so my question is how can a company trying to get half of the principle loan be a legit company? These "discount offers" are what is making me feel weary about sending money because I fear it will never end. I know that online payday loans are illegal in kentucky, but Im not 100% familiar with the laws and I dont want to get sued either. Any Help would be appreciated!

actually, all the overseas places have shell addresses in the states.for example,GFSIL,B.I.G. AND ROUTE 66.that trifecta show a addres on terminal way,but alot of AG'S have said that
is a shell address.i believe that is the case here.

so any suggestions??...if this company is using a shell address, does this mean anything? I have seen that emerald mkt is a PDL company that a lot of people in this forum have had run-ins with...same names pop up in every discussion..keith and jesse of emerald marketing...doesnt it seem a little fishy when they are asking for half of the loan amount back and they gurantee a paid in full on the account?

seeing as that it is illegal you only owe what was borrowed.
i never saw in your first post if anything was paid.was there
even one debit for the interest debited.if so that should go
towards the principal.these people offer settlements hoping to
get your current bank info.

send them an email if you have one for them, say you will pay
but need a physical address.don't mention the NV address.i can
practically guarantee they will say they don't have to or the
supposed verbal contract called for a bank acct and that is what they will accept.that is how all overseas pdl's work.they
can't really do anything except call you to death.

First and foremost rronei. . . .they lie through their teeth. They are illegal and immoral creatures. Many of them are overseas but "use" a US address. Is this Emerald Marketing, LLC?

That is the same address I was able to track down. In addition it showed and email address as well. I guess if we both have the same address, and it came from Corum himself, then it must be a legit address. I hope this helps those in need of this information and good luck with your litigation.

Are you pursuing them for unlawful practices or what if you dont mind me asking? I owe them $300.00 for the principle of the loan, but Im afraid if I send them this I wont recieve any kind of PIF letter and they will keep bothering me (emails every day threatening to prosecute me and take me to court)...any suggestions?

I am currently dealing with them, I know when they call I see these numbers appear on caller id under Missouri, 1-816-822-3676, 1-816-822-7773. They keep claiming they are located in Nevada, but I found this address as well, 7442 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Apparently Corum, Roy Sousley and Jason Martin and the rest of them work in the same place. I'm very skeptical about where they are truly located because when I told them about the Missouri address they became defensive. I hope this can clarify some things but they are definitely not legit.
