Does anyone know these numbers? 1-888-323-3370, 1-888-651-1555. I have been receiving calls from them everyday but when i call back they don't answer with the companies name. Thanks

It looks as though the first number is calling from GC Services collection agency..not sure of the 2nd number

hey Ang, How r u? Well the numbers are for GC Services now i need to find out for what creditor they are collecting for, since i have so many collections out there i have no clue.

I'm good Kate, thanks for asking! Well u cud send them a dv letter along with cease and desist. That would show u who they are collecting for.

Well I will tell you another story I had a Sears credit card which i defaulted on and it was for $4700 then it was sent to Allen Lewis and Associates for collections and they were calling me everyday so I sent them the DV letter and they never validated the denbt or called me back. It has been over two months I don't hear from them, I wonder whats going to happen next?

Well at least u got them off ur back!! Did u send a cease letter also?? Or just the debt validation?
Make sure to keep ur records of this in case later on they decide to sue u, ull have proof taht they didn't validate ur debt!

It will be sold to another agency or given back to Sears. Sears bills never seem to go away. My wife has been dealing with one for I forget how long. No one can validate it. It is way past the SOL but every once in a while it comes back! It is so old it has dropped off her credit report. We have no idea what it is for!

GC Services does much collecting for AMEX. They also have a bad reputation for violations of the fdcpa.

Thanks froggy, I don't have an AMEX credit card I only had Orchard Bank which is HSBC, Credit One Bank, and JC Penney. I have also heard lots of comments about Sears and that they will sue. All I can do is sit and wait.
