Yep, I REALLY suck!

OK peoples, I have made a grave error, I did something a couple of weeks ago that I SWORE I would never do again, yep, I got a storefront pdl. Yeah, someone needs to tie me up and beat the living crap out of me, because I was finally out of the hole when temptation called. Shocked I didn't get this loan for petty purposes, I was in dire need at the time, it was only for $200.00 bucks, BUT, that money fed my sorry ass and helped pay for much needed medication that I otherwise would not have been able to get. I have recently been recovering from a VERY serious illness, and without going into all my private details, my Dr. prescribed medication that is VERY costly, which I can NOT go a day without. This medication is expensive. I have insurance (what a joke!) but the bone heads are making me pay for the majority of it (I hate the system when it comes to insurance but that's another story).

Now that I've given you a few short details ( well I meant for them to be short, sorry it wasn't lol ), here's the deal and the purpose for this post. My loan is due tomorrow! I don't have ANY money whatsoever and won't until Friday, soooo, I have decided to evoke the EPP on this storefront loan ( I already checked and yes they are a member of CFSA). Now I know these people are total a** holes, and I know I am in for a tongue lashing, BUT I have made up my mind that I am going to remain calm, but I ain't gonna take no crap in the form of being demeaned. My question is this, when you go to evoke the EPP, are you required to make a payment right then and there? Also, I am going prepared, I am going to record the conversation with my cell phone (just in case), that is if I can figure out how to do it! lol Advice anyone?

I would not assume you will have a problem. Just go in and ask for the EPP. If they are operationg legally , and it seems like they are, you should not have a problem. Not everyone is out to screw us.

Shazzers as I stated in your previous post...I had a loan with Check'nGo. My payments were set up to begin the next payday and thereafter. You should be alright...I had thoughts of being berated for taking out this loan etc...however they were very nice and understanding...you may want to call them and let them be aware of your situation. You'll be alright.

kashzan I was NOT insinuating that EVEYONE is out to screw us, but I do know first hand that this particular company I am dealing with does tend to give out tongue lashings if you default on a loan. Thank you for answering my question laura. I am hoping that they will begin payments on my next pay period but I wasn't sure how it worked.

But you are not defaulting on your loan. You are asking for the epp which is well within your rights. sorry if you misunderstood

No, I am not defaulting, I believe in paying my debts, but this just happens to be one of those times that I wasn't able to meet my obligation in a timely manner. If (and I really hope so) they will begin the payments on my next payday, I will pay it off completely.

I don't think I am doing anything wrong, but I so dread going into this Store front to tell them I need the EPP to fulfill my obligation, as I know first hand how these people are, and tongue lashing is the only way to describe how they treat people. I really dread this. But, ya gotta do, what ya gotta do, so after work today, I'm going to DO it. Maybe I should call ahead. Gees I hate that I let this happen again. Confused

Shazzers....just relax. From what I saw, Kash also posted som every critical info regarding EPP on your other thread.

When Kash said not everyone is out to screw us, I am sure it was in respons to your comment about the PDL being total a$$holes, which is really irrelevant with regards to the terms and conditions of the EPP.

If you want our support, you have it....the best thing you can do is just call or go down there and handle it.

I wasn't exaggerating when I said that Volleyballmom, they ARE total a**holes (I know this first hand). But I didn't say that ALL were, I was referring to this one I am dealing with right now. No offense intended toward anyone, just defending and explaining my comment.

Well, the comment was relevent to me, because it may be a problem when I go in to ask for the EPP. That is why I made the statement. OK that's all, enough explaining, I have the info needed, thank you all!

Shazzers...nobody here asked you to explain anything. Your original post was nothing but...

Pardon my candor, but shunning members of this community because you dont like responses, when quite frankly, there was nothing but help offered, is really quite rude.

...and to further my comment, perhaps some may be relucutant to help those that snub.I am sorry that you are taking that posture.

I can understand your frustration...I sure can as many of us here can!

Snub and shunning others? Explain. I'm not undestanding what you mean, I responded to kashzan's comment : "Not everyone is out to screw us". I'm not sure how you are taking my tone, but it certainly wasn't a snub or a shun, it was a direct response to her statement. Placing a label on me because I responded and explained myself, is hardly shunning or snubbing, is it? I would really like to know. Rolling Eyes

Lets all take a deep breath here and focus on what is really important. There apparently is a misunderstanding that has the potential of escalating into something that would not be the kind of impression that we we wish to make to our guests. Please move on with the topic at hand.
