i have about 6 pdloans. i wish to settle them one by one but the interest are too high. for a loan of $400 they want me to pay $1800? they are rude on the phone.how can i lower the interest rate, i can only afford to pay $600 to settle this, as there are other existing loans and garnishment.

We need more information from you in order to assist you. We need to know what state are you from, are these internet or store front pdl's. How much did you borrow and paid back. By giving more information individuals on here will be gladly advise you further. Do not feel like you are alone in this matter as all of us have been there at one time or another.
There are people on here that have more experience than I to tell you exactly how to handle this so hold tight someone will be along shortly.

Can you provide more information. Please post:
1) What State you live in
2) Who the loans are with and if they are internet or storefront
3) The original loan amount and the amount you have paid to each (including fees and interest)
If you can post this information, you will receive lots of help from the wonderful people on this site.

sha, please post what state you reside in and who your pdls are. The one you mentioned as wanting $1,800 on a $400 loan does NOT sound like a legal lender. Can you please give us the above posted information so that we can help you?
