It seems like every time I have a question no one wants to answer. But can you please answer this.........is E Z-Payday Loan an installment loan because it is showing up on my credit report. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't know anything about payday loans. But I know somebody will come around with the answer to your question. Please be pationed, even I know your in a hurry!

Nikki. . sorry that you feel "abandoned" on this board. I don't know if EZ Payday Loan is an installment loan or not but I can tell you that the laws of each state differ and that determines the way they are dealt with. I am not sure if you have given any information regarding this loan but I would like to try and help if you could "enlighten" me regarding the same.

Please don't take things personally - It's probably more like people just don't know the answer or aren't on when you ask. 
How do you pay on the loan? Is it like you borrowed $200 and will make 5 payments of $75 each, or like you borrowed $200 and on your payday $275 is due or you can pay the $75 and let it go until your next payday?

I'm not too good with PDL's. We only have one experience that we are dealing with, and it's from Advance America. Anyway, I'm sorry you have felt neglected here. I can assure you that everyone here is great and very helpful. Good luck!

I used to have a loan with EZ Payday a long time ago. I paid them off a long time ago before I knew about this site and the law. I dont totally know the answer to your question, sorry. It sucks that it hit your credit like that. I havent had problems with them because I paid them back on time. Good luck to you!

On my credit report It says I opened up an account with EZ Payday Loan in March and I owe them $480. I can't not remember them at all. I did not know that PDL's show up on your credit report.

Most don't, because they report ot other agencies, but it is possible, and some do.

From what I understand, an installment loan is spread out over a period of time to pay back. Cash advances or pay day advances are normally due in three payments. I could be wrong though.
